“Geography is a subject which holds the key to our future.” Michael Palin

Why are there volcanoes? What makes a river flow? How is our local geography linked with the lives we live? Children learn many geographical skills during their time at Churchfields; from grid references to how we know rivers start from the source. We learn about physical and human geography to help engage future globe trotters.

As part of geography, children learnt the importance of the water cycle. In computing lessons, the children created an animation of part of the water cycle.
