Churchfields’ Parent Testimonials

Please see some of the comments below we have recently received from Churchfields’ parents:

You all do such a wonderful job of bringing the curriculum to life for the children, and create meaningful ways for them to engage with all the different subjects. Thank you!

It takes a lot of time, energy, imagination and enthusiasm to do all this – something the staff at Churchfields do brilliantly.

Our two children attended Churchfields almost a decade ago. It seems a long while ago, but the time has flown by. This weekend just gone, we dropped our eldest son to University at having aced his four A levels with 3 x A stars and an A. He will study physics and is the happiest we have ever seen him. Out other son is just starting his GCSE’s and is keenly following in Jacks path with amazing predicted grades. More importantly both have bloomed as they’ve grown. From the extremely shy boys at 5 years old, they have become confident, funny and are both excelling in their studies.

We wanted to say thank you to all at Churchfields for your patience, encouragement, and guidance through their time throughout primary school. Our children still talk fondly of you and the encouragement you always gave them.

The maths you taught our sons has given them both a passion for maths and science that has grown beyond anything we could’ve ever imagined. We cannot thank you enough. But please, please, please, whatever you are doing at Churchfields really works, so please keep it up. We will be forever grateful!

It is a school where everybody belongs and has a family aura about it something I was looking for when I was looking for a school for my children and although there are schools closer to our home, I deliberately chose Churchfields because of its unique family atmosphere and caring environment. It is a place where every child is truly valued and encouraged to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. I can see how much this school impacts my children and how much it has improved them emotionally and academically over the time they have been there.

A specific example of the school’s care is when I was in very ill leading to me being hospitalised for several weeks at a time, in this time the staff went above and beyond to nurture and support my boys during that difficult time. Giving them a stable environment when things where all over the place at home. I truly believe that if it wasn’t for Churchfields and the care they gave the children at that time it would have been a lot more emotionally draining for the children. Their kindness and commitment reassured me that my children were in a safe and loving environment when I was at my most vulnerable.

After viewing many schools, weighing every option and hoping to find the right fit, we just knew the moment we walked into Churchfields, it was the one. There was something immediate and undeniable about it. It didn’t feel like a school; it felt like home. From day one, the support we received was nothing short of exemplary. The teachers were, and continue to be, there for us every step of the way, offering not just education, but care, understanding, and genuine encouragement for both our children and us as parents.

During Covid, when our eldest was in Kingfishers, the dedication shown by the school was simply incredible. From daily Zoom calls and thoughtfully planned tasks, to movie nights and the small but meaningful gestures like cards sent home, every effort was made to keep the children connected, supported, and learning. It went far beyond what we could have expected, and it meant the world to us during such an uncertain time.

The sense of community at Churchfields is something you can only hope for when choosing a school for your children. It’s warm, inclusive, and truly special.

When you become a parent, you hope to make the right choices for your children, especially when it comes to your child’s education, but it can feel overwhelming. Yet what’s overwhelming about family? Because that’s exactly what Churchfields became for us, a family.

“The best teachers are those who inspire us to be our best selves. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration.” Since 2019 you’ve been our children’s super power. From first day smiles to covid home learning, movie nights to personal piggy notes sent home not to mention the yellow crocs. The boys Great Grandmother was a pretty special primary school teacher and I know she helped us find you. You’re truly one in a million and are not only etched into their story but in ours also. We cannot thank you enough for being you.

Our experience with Churchfields Village School has been nothing short of exceptional. From the very first day our daughter joined in Reception, she was welcomed into a warm, nurturing environment that immediately felt like an extension of our family. Throughout her time at the school, we’ve watched her grow not only academically, but also in confidence, independence, and kindness. The teachers have consistently shown genuine care and dedication, taking the time to understand her as an individual and support her strengths while gently guiding her through challenges. It’s clear that the staff are deeply committed to helping every child reach their full potential. What stands out most about Churchfields is its strong sense of community. There is a real partnership between teachers, parents, and pupils, which creates a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Our daughter has formed wonderful friendships and developed a love of learning that we know will stay with her for years to come. We feel incredibly grateful for the positive foundation the school has provided. Watching our daughter progress from a shy Reception child into a confident, capable young learner has been truly special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to her education.
