Sports Day afternoon now Friday 19 July 2024

As we approach our much anticipated sports afternoon, our attention has been turned to the weather! Unfortunately forecasts predict a high chance of rain although we know that they are often far from certain.

Therefore we have had to make the difficult decision to reschedule  the sports afternoon to Friday 19th July in the  afternoon.

The school diary is packed full of other events and activities in term six so we always keep an alternative date free for this very situation. This year this has been planned for Friday 19h July. We are fortunate that the office has been able to book a coach for that Friday afternoon.

We would be grateful if Monkton Farleigh parents/carers could collect their children from the Atworth base Friday 19th July at 3:15pm so this can go ahead. Please speak with your child’s classteacher if this presents a problem for you. Thank you in advance, it is very much appreciated. Please let all friends and family know the change of date.

We  look forward to seeing you on Friday 19th July  when I hope the weather will be kinder to us!
