Hazelbury Open Gardens, Sunday 12 June.
In association with NGS (National Gardens Society), Hazelbury Manor will be opening its private gardens to the public this coming Sunday, 12th June. Entry hours are 2 to 4pm, there is a small fee for entry which is used by the NGS for charitable work.
This year, Churchfields PTA have been invited to supply all the refreshments to approximately 300 visitors, so lots of opportunity to sell drinks and cake! A really big Thank You to the school community who have so kindly pledged to bake cakes, transport equipment and be there on the day, to make sure things run smoothly!
If you are free on Sunday, do come along and visit some of the loveliest gardens in the UK. Ed, the head gardener will be on hand to answer questions and there is also a little nursery, so you can recreate a little piece of heaven at home if you’re green fingered! Please feel free to bring a cake along on the day too, they sell well (please avoid fresh cream and fresh fruit, just in case it’s very hot and please don’t cut the cakes – we can often sell whole cakes for a tidy sum!). All funds raised will be invested into equipment or experiences for all pupils at Churchfields, to creatively support the curriculum, the teachers and our kids learning.
